Air beds

Air beds have come a long way over the years and are no longer used just for camping. Like futon beds and sofa beds, air beds are ideal for those who have little space or need an extra bed for overnight guests. When deflated, an air bed takes up very little space; it can easily be stored in a cupboard or on a shelf. It takes a little bit longer to inflate an air bed than it does to convert a sofa bed, however. One of your biggest considerations is going to be how easy it is to inflate - and deflate - your airbed. Some air beds have an electric pump built into the bed, while some have a separate pump that needs to be attached.

And air beds are considered to be healthy as well - many doctors and chiropractors recommend them. They provide a high level of support, reduce pressure points and distribute the body's weight more evenly. In fact air beds were originally designed to be used in hospitals.
