• Highsleeper beds - these beds combine the space-saving benefits of cabin beds with the sleepover advantages of bunk beds. Often popular with older children, they offer flexibility and contemporary styling.

• Custom-made beds - if you want something completely individual for your child's room, you could contact a bespoke bed-maker. There are companies that provide a small range of pre-designed beds that are produced to your requirements, or you can contact a specialist joiner who will design and make a bed that fits in with your design requirements. Whilst this will inevitably be more expensive than buying a mainstream bed, it will be completely unique to your home.
