Taking a cool shower before heading off to bed helps to regulate body temperature. If you’re already hot before bed, it’s going to be really hard to get to sleep. Our bodies tend to rise in temperature when we’re sleeping which is why if the room is hot, you’ll find it hard to catch those zzz’s.
Keep PJ’s And Sheets Breathable
Silky sheets and pj’s are ideal for the summer months. This type of material is very breathable and tends to retain a cooler temperature. The last thing you need when it’s hot is a stuffy material to sleep in.
Use Black Out Curtains
In the summer, the sun starts to rise as early as 4 am. If the sunlight is beaming directly into your room it’s going to get really hot, really quick. The best way to avoid this is by using black our curtains or blinds. Not only do they keep light out, they also keep the heat out.
