The Classic Ortho mattress from The Shire Bed Company features an open coil 12.5g orthopaedic spring unit and deluxe polyester fillings which provides a medium to firm feel sleeping surface, providing robust support. Finished with a microquilted damask fabric cover. This mattress comes complete with a 1 year manufacturer's guarantee.
These spring systems contain interlaced coils of high-tensile steel that are joined together in a lattice, for great body support. Most common sprung mattresses are made using these open coil springs.
Soft white fibre fillings which are made from 100% polyester. This type of mattress filling offers great recovery and is very durable, which means long-lasting comfort.
Good for people who change sleeping position.
A mattress cover which is made from a breathable woven damask fabric.
If you require extra support for your back and shoulders, this firmer orthopaedic mattress provides it perfectly.
The mattress has fillings on both sides. Double-sided mattresses need to be turned regularly to keep them in good condition.
