London Mattress.
The London mattress is our entry level mattress, perfect for those on a smaller budget. The London mattress contains a 13.5 gauge open coil spring system.
The primary function of the open coil mattress is to provide resistance and support for all different shapes and sizes.
Sometimes known as innerspring mattresses, an open coil mattress consists of a number of coil springs, a standard double bed has approximately 325 coil springs, manufacturers and sizes do differ. The coils are assembled into a single construction with helical wire which is a thin, spiral wire that joins the wire at the top and bottom to form several rows. An outer rod is then fitted around the top and bottom of the finished construction to provide additional strength.
The London mattress is finished in a stitch bond plain quilted cover.
The London mattress has additional fillings of natural cotton and wool felts. The comfort level of this mattress is Medium.
