About The Fifth Trust
The Fifth Trust is a Kent-based, award-winning charity that supports adults with learning disabilities to live with greater confidence, independence and opportunity. Their work empowers people to learn, grow, and achieve their goals every day.
Based across two skills centres in the Elham Valley near Canterbury, the charity gives students the opportunity to explore their interests through creative, practical and educational activities. From horticulture, craft and woodwork to cooking, music, photography and work experience, every activity is designed to help empower the students’ confidence and independence.

We loved welcoming students and staff from The Fifth Trust to our MattressNextDay office in Whitstable for a behind-the-scenes look at what we do.
During the visit, students had the chance to meet and chat with the team, explore the warehouse to see how orders are packed and prepared, and test out some of the mattresses in our showroom. It was a brilliant day of stories, smiles and shared inspiration.
