I looked at a lot of mattresses before buying this one and I would say it's a medium firm mattress. It's great value for money, looking at the price of similar mattresses. I've reduced the comfort rating to 4, as the mattress fastenings aren't very comfortable if you lay on them the wrong way. No-one else has mentioned this in reviews and it could be because i'm small! overall, i'm glad I bought it.

This mattress for me has been very uncomfortable. It is far too soft for a 14stone side sleeper.Unfortunately it has made my backache due to not having enough support for my spine.It is very well made and of high quality.I only wish it had stated on the website about having a weight limit.
