An open coil spring core provides a medium level of support, which is ideal for children ages 2 and over. A little bit bigger, toddlers this age will start to feel the benefits of a medium mattress compared to the firm one they'll have had as a baby. A layer of High Density Eco-insulator ensures they don't feel the springs directly, they'll just feel the support.
