We have had this mattress approaching 3 weeks now, a replacement for an ageing sealy product. This is a quality mattress, well made, at a very good price. It is certainly firm, more so than our previous mattress but not in a bad way, and after a couple of nights we soon acclimatised to it and are very pleased with it. Highly recommended if youre looking for a very well made firm mattress at a great price.

This mattress is very high quality for this price.Weird feel for first night very firm .After few days I get used to it.Good for back sleepers.Less for side sleepers but is still ok sleeping on my side .My weight is 13.5 stones.This mattress is just enough for me.After 2 weeks is a bit softer,not comfortable like medium firm.But this mattress is perfect for my back that's why I bought it.People's under my weight shouldn't buying it .Very recommended for people's weighting over 13 stones and very large people's .

My old mattress was also rest assured which lasted 12 years but was medium - I wanted something firmer, this northington is very firm but that's what I like! really comfortable, good for back or front sleepers, i've had it for 2 weeks now and its settling nicely, love it. It was ordered from the whitstable store, staff were really helpful and honest comparing this mattress (not on show) with another more expensive mattress which was on show. Delivered on the day of my choice and they even threw in a 'delivery to room of choice' for free. I paid to have the old one recycled which is another reason I went with mattressnextday, I didn't want the old one going to landfill. Excellent all round - thoroughly recommended.
