Superbly made with two layers of traditional pocket springs in a gauge more akin to most competitor's medium tension. It is described as soft or softer but is in reality more on par with most brand's medium mattresses. The "firmer" model is really firm, and the spring gauge is at the firm end of the spectrum. The fillings are thick, double sided and the total thickness c37cm.. Built without any gimmicks or "micro springs" to boost the spring count, this is at the top end of the silent night / rest assured product range. It's heavy commensurate with the quality build & components used but not impossible to flip/turn. After previous experiences with millbrook, relyon and other quality pocket sprung british made mattresses over the years this is one of the nicest / best value. Mattress next day had the best price with a speed of delivery and vast array of choice from physical stock that is incredible & unrivalled in my experience. There were some excellent sleepeze wool and tuft/springs models as well in the showroom which i'd have also happily chosen alternatively.

Im unsure whether the mattress will become softer over time as I would prefer it to be a little more softer - it is comfortable and very deep as such I have ordered a smaller depth base but you can see it is quality made

Good delivery time, great polite delivery men + a beautiful mattress; great british quality, very well made & you can immediately tell as soon as you look at it let alone touch. We have both slept properly since delivery; we have had trouble sleeping properly for a good few years, l have a very bad back so comfort is important & this is like sleeping on a very supportive pillow; hundreds of mattresses to choose from on the market but what one do you get. But we stayed for a short break at top of the rock glamping in a beautiful shepherds hut, slept there on a rest assured mattress, fantastic sleep we had there hence my search for the same mattress when we got home & we are not disappointed. Well done rest assure for a great quality mattress thankyou
