The Relyon Sophia Mattress is for those who want to add a level of luxury to their sleeping experience. In addition to layers of British-bred wool and Belgian damask, the mattress boasts a unique blend of alpaca, pashmina and wool. Not only does this add further insulation and comfort, but increases its wicking abilities, ensuring that the users are neither too hot nor cold.

This mattress doesn’t need to be turned over, but the occasional rotation will help to ensure it reaches its optimum lifespan. The Sophia comes with an eight-year guarantee, for ultimate peace of mind.

Optimal postural support

The king-size version of the Relyon Sophia Mattress comes with a generous matrix of 3000 individually pocketed springs. Each spring is housed in its own fabric pocket, facilitating independent movement. This allows each spring to react autonomously to the weights and pressures placed on it and provide the best in postural support. In addition, pocket springs minimise the transfer of movement between sleepers, ensuring that each gets a restful and undisturbed night’s sleep.

Pillowtop layer and firm-sprung edges

For more reactive and intricate support, the pillowtop layer is filled with mini springs. These follow the contours of the body in even more detail and relieve the stresses placed on pressure points, such as the neck, shoulders, hips and lower back. Pillowtop mattresses are ideal for those who like to sleep on their sides. To further enhance the sleeping experience, the sides of the Sophia Mattress are lined with firm springs, preventing the ‘roll off’ sensation experienced by those who like to sleep close to the edge.
