Do I need to buy a new bed frame?
Not necessarily. You can use your existing frame as long as it is a 6ft Super King size and is in good structural condition. However, there are two vital things to check to protect your mattress warranty:
Support: If your current base is sagging or has broken slats, it will cause your new mattress to dip, which often voids the manufacturer's warranty.
Slat Gaps: If you have a slatted base, ensure the gaps between the slats are no wider than 75mm (3in). Gaps wider than this can cause the mattress fillings to bulge and settle unevenly.
